Senior IT Specialist

Your Mission

As a Senior IT Specialist, you will share responsibility for our organization’s entire IT landscape. In this role, your primary focus will be on external automation, including customer connections and VPN infrastructures. At the same time, you will help ensure the continuity, security, and ongoing development of our overall IT environment.

You are comfortable operating at both a strategic and hands-on level, and you actively contribute to shaping IT architecture, strengthening cybersecurity, and preparing for future developments.

What You’ll Do

• Manage, optimize, and continuously improve the IT environment
• Design, implement, and secure external connections, including various VPN solutions
• Support the management of the full IT infrastructure, including internal office systems
• Design and enhance IT architecture and network structures
• Provide guidance on cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance
• Maintain and improve IT policies, standards, and processes
• Implement new technologies and best practices
• Lead and deliver IT projects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Act as a trusted advisor to management at both operational and strategic levels
• Contribute to IT challenges related to integrations and multi-site environments

Your Profile

• Proven experience as a Senior IT Specialist, System Engineer, or in a similar role
• Strong expertise in networking, industrial IT (OT), VPN technologies, and cybersecurity
• Experience with virtualization technologies (Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware ESXi) and the Microsoft ecosystem
• Analytical, hands-on, and strategically minded, with a strong sense of ownership
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
• Experience with industrial environments, ISO/IEC 27001, IEC 62443, and multi-site organizations is a plus
