International Service Desk Engineer

Your mission

With your in-depth expertise in controls and industrial software, you act as the technical point of contact for high-end customers dealing with complex malfunctions, performance issues, and service requests. You approach technical challenges with a strong combination of electronics expertise and PC/PLC knowledge, enabling you to effectively analyze and understand both IT and OT environments.

You analyze system behavior using log data, measurements, and diagnostic tools, translating your findings into targeted solutions. During site visits, you perform detailed system analyses, identifying both hardware and software root causes of deviations. You optimize PLC configurations, HMI/SCADA systems, and industrial networks to improve system reliability and performance.

You work in a structured and independent manner on multiple issues in parallel, setting priorities based on impact and urgency. With your analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, you efficiently perform root cause analyses and implement sustainable solutions. You combine technical depth with a strong service-oriented approach, ensuring clear communication with customers, with the ultimate goal of maximizing system availability and customer satisfaction.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • Proven experience in a technical support or service environment, or several years of experience with commissioning on-site installations within industrial automation
  • Strong background in industrial automation and software systems
  • Experience in the intralogistics sector is a plus
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30% when required
  • Willingness to participate in a 24/7 support environment
